LEEDS CITY CATHEDRAL WAR MEMORIALS

Leeds Cathedral is close to the Leeds Town Hall and Leeds Civic Hall. It is the main Roman Catholic Church in Leeds. The WW1 Memorial was designed by Formilli in 1920 There are three Wall Plaques that remember 180 men from the Cathedrals Parish. By the entrance is a statue of our lady inscribed in memory of Private Rowland Richardson who gave his life in March 1918. the Alter is in Memory of Second Lieutenant William Humphrey Coghlan who gave his life on the 26th August 1914.
